I believe in the immense emotional power of photographs, especially for people in difficult life situations. To that end, I am committed to local photographic philanthropy, with the intention of helping families capture their love in photographs - no matter their circumstances. For some families, photography is an unaffordable luxury when it is a struggle to meet basic needs. I believe that every family deserves the opportunity to create a photographic legacy, every child deserves to have pictures of themselves, and children need to have images of their parents.
To that end, I provide philanthropic photographic outreach to A Precious Child, a local organization dedicated to providing basic essentials to children and families in need.
If you would like to be a part of the Heidi Howard’s Photography for a Cause project, you can “donate up” and contribute toward photo sessions or prints for deserving local families in need. Additionally, if you know of a family in need who would benefit from participating in this program, please contact me directly.
Watch this video for a brief overview of the work I'm doing to help these families My belief in the power of photography, coupled with my passion for philanthropy, led me to a decision that is impacting the lives of underprivileged families all over the Denver metro area: sharing the gift of portrait photography with families served by the local nonprofit organization A Precious Child.
